SEN Names Tim Tait Businessperson of the Year

April 11, 2018 (Charlotte, NC) – The SEN Design Group announced earlier this month that Tim Tait, former president and owner of LifeStyle Kitchen & Bath Center in Parker, CO, was selected as the twentieth recipient of the M. A. Peterson Businessperson of The Year Award. The award was presented during the organization’s National Spring Conference before a gathering of 200+ members and vendors in Houston, Texas.

fullsizeoutput_17a7Tait was recognized for his genuine commitment to consistently improve his business and encourage the same for his peers. His openness and willingness to enthusiastically help and mentor others radiates throughout SEN and all those that he has guided.

“Tim is someone with uncompromised business ethics and, despite obvious financial business success, displays a refreshing, admirable, and rare humility in this industry,” commented Leah Peterson, Executive Vice President of SEN Design Group.

The award is named in honor of Peterson’s grandfather who made some notable contributions to the kitchen and bath industry during his 30-year career. M. A. Peterson helped establish the industry’s leading trade organization, the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), in 1963, served on its Board of Directors for many years, was honored as the world’s first Certified Kitchen Designer, and inducted into the Industry Hall of Fame in 1988 - its inaugural year. The SEN Design Group makes this award annually in memory of M. A. Peterson who died in March of 1997.

Other notable award recipients include Daltile, Silver Vendor Partner Performance, Task Lighting Co, Gold Vendor Partner Performance, and Bellmont Cabinet Co, Vendor Partner of the Year.
